THE PROCESS
- UK Building Compliance assisted with the specification of the Glazing U-Value, Thermal Insulation and heating system
- This was to ensure that the notional dwelling was more efficient than the proposed dwelling which is a requirement in order to demonstrate Part L1B compliance
THE RESULT
- Compliant
- Reduction in Dwelling Emission Rating (DER) and Dwelling Fabric Energy Efficiency (DFEE) beyond Notional Standards
- Compliant with Part L Building Regulation Standards
- The Predicted EPC showed a rating of high C for energy efficiency and mid C for environmental impact - good for a property of this age
