Clock Tower Conversion - Caldecote - SAP & Sound Testing

THE BRIEF

We were tasked with carrying out SAP Calculations, Water Efficiency Calculations and Sound Insulation Testing for this unique conversion of a Clock Tower within the grounds of the secure gated development at Caldecote Hall

The antique Clock Tower is still working and many of the historic features have been preserved such as the original door to the property which now forms the entrance to the grounds

THE PROCESS

The project bought about methodological hurdles within the SAP Process due to the unusual nature of the building
Our Environmental Consultants liaised with the client to ensure that the acoustic/thermal challenges were overcome
